Intel’s new CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, has made a number of changes to the chipmaker’s leadership team, flattening the structure and appointing a new chief technology and AI officer.
According to a memo sent by Tan and reported by Reuters, Sachin Katti, SVP and GM of Intel’s networking and Edge group, has been made the new technology and AI executive.
In his new role, Katti will be “expanding his responsibilities to include the role of chief technology and AI officer for the company,” Reuters…
