Intel’s next manufacturing node has a customer list that reads like a roll call of the entire US chip industry. According to a September 24, 2026 report from PC Gamer, based on an investment note from Piper Sandler, Amazon, Apple, AMD, Google, Tesla, Microsoft, Nvidia and Qualcomm are all reportedly evaluating Intel’s upcoming 14A process. That is eight of the most consequential chip designers in the world, several of whom compete directly with Intel’s own product lines, all reportedly kicking the tires on the company’s most advanced future node.
