IBM IBM, the hybrid-cloud and enterprise-software company, traded at $221.49, up about 0.4% around 10:18 a.m. ET Tuesday, after outlining how its products will work with Nvidia’s (NVDA) new AI-agent safety platform. The pitch is straightforward: companies want agents to do real work, but they need to know who gave those agents access and what they can touch.
In IBM’s plan, Agent Identity and HashiCorp Vault connect to Nvidia OpenShell to manage credentials and permissions. Identity Protection tracks agents across an organization. IBM Fusion adds BlueField-4 hardware, while Red Hat OpenShift provides a place to run agents across hybrid-cloud systems. Nvidia’s platform also includes Sentry, which monitors agent behavior and can quarantine an agent that crosses its limits.
That gives IBM several products it could sell around one emerging workload. The chart puts the shares about 8.8% below their $242.97 GF Value, but that gap alone says little about what this collaboration will earn….
