Vibe coding works. I wish it wasn’t like that. But it does, good enough. And until there is a revolution that eliminates the new world disorder, machine learning cannot be undone.
Earlier this year I gave up, bought a Claude subscription for $20/month, and Vibe coded a web app to monitor news feeds. It was an enlightening but unpleasant experience.
There are people who want to stop AI. I wish them all the best. But I remain convinced that the problem is not AI. It is the people who would use AI to make a profit while avoiding responsibility and liability.
Every AI failure so far has been due to one person’s decision to implement an AI system without fully understanding what might happen (or they understood it and knew they could get away with it).
