I’m not into the corporatization of love. Even happily married, Valentine’s Day is just another day. A handwritten note and a bunch of chocolate (not flowers, if you must know) is my jam. Thankfully, my wife also cringes at the thought of celebrating Hallmark’s holiday.
But this year is a little different. My wife will be away in Florida and we’re about to start IVF – so we can use the extra love and laughs, even if it’s from a Valentine’s Day card.
Given that I don’t have any sketching…
