HPE Unveils ’Self-Driving’ Networking Solutions

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has expanded its retail server and networking portfolio, introducing new “autonomous driving” features, a new small form factor network switch, and other performance and hardware upgrades.

The company unveiled its new offerings in New York City this week at NRF 2026. The expanded solutions combine autonomous networking from HPE Aruba Networking CX Switching with Juniper’s Mist AIOps and improved performance from the HPE Nonstop Compute platform.

“It’s really about how we can make things easier for retailers,” said Gayle Levin, director of wireless product marketing at HPE. Data center knowledge in an interview. “It’s about how we can help them simplify and automate their operations. We know retailers are lean. They are short-staffed and want to centralize their IT teams and remote workers. We make it easy for them to deploy their network.”
