HPE Expands ProLiant Edge Networking Portfolio | Weekly computer

As businesses of all sizes and locations increasingly need to extend artificial intelligence (AI) and mission-critical workloads to harsh, highly distributed environments, HPE has expanded its ProLiant Edge portfolio to address these needs and deliver workload durability in real-world conditions, including harsh environments.

HPE said organizations are currently pushing toward advantage for AI inference and remote operations, where traditional IT structures are not practical for many industries. Specifically, he noted that peripheral environments are often widely distributed, understaffed, and physically exposed.
