In our country’s current political and social climate, vulnerable communities are particularly at risk. We define vulnerable communities as those who have been marginalized and oppressed in the past and/or those who are actively threatened under the current political administration. Our definition also includes individuals whose current or past economic, social, political or legal status increases the risk of post-reporting impacts. This includes, but is not limited to, homeless people, members of the LGBTQ+ community, immigrants, people of color, people with disabilities, and other marginalized people not mentioned here.
