How Google AI can help athletes achieve greatness
By solving some of the most extreme conditions on the mountain – and on the planet – we show that Google AI can also excel at biomechanical tasks in more conventional environments, whether supporting amateur golfers, physical therapy patients, or industrial robotics labs.
Although Google’s platform is powerful, it can run on devices in the palm of a skier’s hand. While it would still be useful to do the analysis in the gym or at the lodge, the fact that it can be done in near real time on the slopes is a big part of the value to the team.
