Not only is artificial intelligence being used by scammers to promise fake jobs and trick job seekers, it is also increasingly being used in responses and verification processes for real jobs (AI job scams are booming—and I was fooled by one. Here’s how to avoid them, April 21). Not only do good people lose their jobs, but companies also lose better candidates.
As a potential researcher identifying potential donors for organizations, I am aware of the benefits that AI can support my work, but I will only use it when I run out of tools. With 20 years of experience, I can create a report with insights that only a human can provide. This is what my employers expect from me.
