On a per-share basis, the Spring, Texas-based company said it had net income of 31 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 65 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street’s expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 59 cents per share.
The provider of information technology products and services posted revenue of $9.3 billion in the period, missing Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $9.32 billion.
