Google announced a unified Gemini AI agent at a Google Cloud event on Thursday that can answer questions and complete tasks on users’ behalf through a single interface.
Google will initially deploy the agent to businesses before rolling it out to consumers. CEO Sundar Pichai said that approach would help address “harder problems around security, scale, and performance.”
Pichai said Gemini has more than 1 billion monthly active users and nearly 90% of Fortune 100 businesses use Gemini Enterprise at work.
