Google Site Kit auto-tracks checkouts and form leads from 8 WordPress plugins

Google’s official WordPress plugin, Site Kit, now detects purchases, add-to-cart actions and form submissions coming from a fixed list of third-party plugins, sends those events to Google Analytics and turns them into a goals report inside the WordPress dashboard. Google Search Central publicized the feature, called Site Goals, in a LinkedIn post on September 15, 2026, eight days after Site Kit version 1.187.0 removed the feature flag that had kept it from the general user base.
