Google’s I/O announcements included updates to its monthly storage and AI subscription plans, as well as a new benefit: YouTube Premium.
The $19.99 per month Google AI Pro includes 5TB of storage, extended Gemini usage credits, and now a YouTube Premium Lite subscription. There’s also Google Home Premium Standard, the new name for Nest Aware, and Google Health Premium, which launches on May 26th.
If you opt for Google’s new AI Ultra 5x package, you’ll get 20TB of storage for $99.99 per month and full YouTube Premium. The video streamer is also included in the top Google AI Ultra 20x plan, which offers 30TB of storage and far more extensive AI usage for $199.99. That’s a lot of money for AI access, but it’s a price cut of $250 per month as Google tries to stay competitive with its rivals like Anthropic and OpenAI.
