You’ll no longer have to do a deep dive into the settings when trying to edit a video before sending it to someone. The latest Google Photos update brings the Quick Edits feature to videos, allowing you to access some of the most vital video editing tools right before you share videos to friends and colleagues.
It’s about time
The update is now rolling out to all users, with Android Authority sharing that they have seen the feature in Google Photos version 7.95.0.989626323. We’ve all been there, we’re excited to share a photo or video with someone, but there’s something small you want to edit from the media before sending it out.
You’re already locked into the Share menu, so it’s either you back out and make the edit, or you just let it go through as is. Well, back in July 2025, Google introduced its Quick Edits feature for photos that gives you a chance to make small adjustments right before you hit send.
