(NewsNation) — Millions of Android users may qualify for a payout under a $135 million class-action settlement with Google over unauthorized data use claims.
The proposed deal stems from a 2020 lawsuit, Taylor v. Google LLC, which alleged Android devices transferred information without users’ permission, using their cellular data in the process.
Google has denied any wrongdoing but agreed to settle the case. A final hearing is scheduled for June 23.
