A former Chinese diplomat has warned that “China will not be pushed around” as the threat of global war remains.
In conversation with 60 minutesVictor Gao firmly stated that “no country, including the United States, will be able to establish military dominance in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) over China.”
“China will never allow this,” Mr. Gao said.
Just a few weeks ago, the Chinese government unveiled its latest “AI-powered war robots” in a massive show of force.
The robots were seen climbing walls, practicing martial arts, performing detailed acrobatic moves and brandishing weapons.
“They are much more sophisticated, agile and adaptable than anything you can find in the world,” Mr Gao said.
“It gives you a reason to work with China instead of trying to question or undermine China.
“China will not be undermined. China will not be pushed around.”
