OpenAI launched the Deployment Company this week, a $4 billion push built around staffing corporations and enterprises with forward deployed engineers. The next day, Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian went on LinkedIn to recruit for the role, while Google Cloud had 59 related roles open and reported that the company plans to hire hundreds. Anthropic embedded its FDEs inside FIS to co-build an anti-money-laundering agent. ServiceNow and Accenture also launched a joint FDE program.
