Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has expanded its virtualization-enabled hybrid cloud offerings for HPE Private Cloud. The company is combining an open-source kernel-based virtual machine with HPE cluster orchestration software to support the performance and availability required for enterprise workloads. This new offering allows for capacity virtualization clusters to be managed through a cloud-based control plane, removing the need for on-premises management resources.
