Editor’s Letter: Our last hurrah, or whatever they say

After two years as editor-in-chief and editor-in-chief, we are finally saying goodbye for the last time. Not only was it an honor to be the leaders of Hamline’s oldest student organization, but also to be the press for a campus as diverse and unique as Hamline. While we’ve made our fair share of mistakes and burned a bridge or two, we hope the content we direct and produce does this place justice.

There are stories we were able to tell, and some we hope will be covered in the future. We began in May 2024, during a remarkable transition period at Hamline. Our first powerful message was about a new anti-protest policy… and our last was the removal of an anti-signage policy. At the beginning of our term, we began covering the 2024 presidential election and had a team well-informed to report on the aftermath, particularly during Operation Metro Surge.
