As AI continues to expand, its potential to replace lawyers, particularly those in entry-level positions, has become a growing concern.
Technology and AI scientist Professor Matt Cooper-Hols discussed this shift on the 3AW Breakfast with Ross & Russ, explaining that while he doesn’t predict that “the workforce will shrink”, roles in the legal sector will “change”.
“AI is becoming so complicated that we are actually using it ourselves to check the AI and keep it honest,” says Professor Hols.
