Australians are upgrading to the new iPhone in record numbers, ignoring the fact that Apple’s much-vaunted artificial intelligence features are not yet fully available. It’s a trend that Tim Cook called stunning and proves that for the Apple faithful, hardware still trumps software.
On Friday, Apple reported revenue of $143.8 billion for the quarter ended Dec. 27, up 16 percent from the same quarter last year and above the $138 billion expected by analysts.
