Deloitte is betting on $1 billion for the back office as AI automates 30 percent of consulting tasks

Deloitte Australia aims to more than triple its managed services division by 2030 to create a $1 billion business. The company wants to counter the threat of artificial intelligence, which could automate a third of routine consulting tasks within three years.

Deloitte Australia managing director Joanne Gorton said AI would allow the company to run back-office functions such as finance for clients more efficiently than they could do themselves.
