Dell Private Cloud has extended support for Nutanix with external storage flexibility in line with workload diversification and businesses demanding greater flexibility.
With its latest Nutanix tie-up, Dell promises new ways to match infrastructure to shifting work demands while maintaining operational consistency.
With 52% of IT teams now considering multiple hypervisor options in a bid to avoid vendor lock-in, according to Gartner research, adopting flexible infrastructure has become an important business need in private cloud strategy.
Some of its added benefits include matching resources to requirements by pairing Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) with Dell infrastructure to align compute and storage to specific needs, and the opportunity to maintain operational continuity so teams continue using familiar tools like Prism UI without workflow disruption.
Other features include simplification through automation as Dell Automation Platform handles Day 0–2 deployment and lifecycle management, with solution-level support across automation, compute, storage, and hypervisor layers. Teams are also promised to protect their investments by reusing existing Dell infrastructure to scale workloads as needed without replacing hardware.
