TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Crews stopped the progress of the 18 fires burning off SR 79 near Oracle Junction on Friday, March 28.
The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management said the fires were worked as a single incident and named the Saddlebrooke Fire.
The Golder Ranch Fire District and ADFFM said additional crews were called in quickly and “all resources (made) great progress.”
The ADFFM said the fires have burned around 100 acres but more information would be released Saturday…
