Last year, the data streaming platform provider rolled out several partner program updates globally focused on referrals and training. During this time, Laskaj says there has been a significant increase in partner certification in A/NZ for Confluent’s Kafka and Flink offerings.
“We have a really aggressive strategy when it comes to upskilling partners, things like Apache Flink and Apache Iceberg, because there is a lack of expertise globally and in the market,” he said.
“There is a huge opportunity for partners to leverage our customers’ lack of expertise into something we believe will transform the market.”
Apart from the SIs, the provider also wants to intensify its sales.
