TAIPEI—You can always catch a glimpse at the future of computing at Computex, Asia’s largest tech trade show. This year, the future is tantalizingly near. Nvidia unveiled a game-changing Arm-based superchip for Windows PCs like this new Microsoft Surface, plus aired a fever-dream music video. MSI teased a new Claw 8 Xbox gaming handheld with Intel’s new Arc G3 Extreme processor. And of course, we’re finding plenty of weird, wonderful tech, like this holographic dragon inside a PC.

What Is Computex?

Asia’s biggest tech show and the world’s largest IT-centric conference, Computex is a sprawling, annual event that focuses on AI, computing, robotics, and next-generation technology. The organizing body is the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), in association with the Taipei Computer Association (TCA). It’s both a technology exhibition and a massive venue for procurement professionals and startups.

When Does Computex Run?

Computex runs from June 2 to June 5. Those days, the show floor is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Taiwan Standard Time (closing at 3:30 p.m. on Friday). The day before, Computex Media Day is packed with keynotes, forums, and affiliated events.
