The three meetings held today allowed people to ask questions about the 900-acre Microsoft Data Center that will be coming to Granger.
Those meetings capped at around 12 people for each session.
“What is the water usage going to look like? What is the campus going to look like? Just want to, you know, just get some of the first hand information and understanding it so and how it affect our environmental area,” Ed Keve said.
“How do you say soften some of the noise, if noise is generated or if there’s power issues, and that seems to be a big concern in our group, there were a number of people that were worried about upscaling prices to the other homeowners. So, you know, how does this type of project add to the community?” Jerry Frost said.
St. Joseph County Councilman Dan Schaetzle says being able to ask those questions in a smaller group setting felt important to him, especially to learn where water for the facility will be coming from.
