Crypto exchange Coinbase Global will cut around 14 percent of its workforce, citing the need to control costs in volatile markets and technological advances in artificial intelligence.

The company plans to focus remaining employees on AI skills while reducing management levels, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said in an X post on Tuesday (Wednesday AEST).
