(TNND) — The Chinese artificial intelligence app, DeepSeek has temporarily paused downloads of the app in South Korea while it works to address privacy concerns, South Korean officials said Monday.
According to the South Korea Personal Information Protection Commission, the DeepSeek app was removed from local app stores on Saturday evening and the company agreed to work with the agency to address privacy concerns and strengthen protections before relaunching the apps.
