A San Diego-based artificial intelligence company was added Wednesday to China’s blacklist as part of its escalating trade war with the U.S.
Shield AI, one of San Diego’s most valuable venture-backed organizations, was among six companies added to China’s Unreliable Entities List. The distinction from China’s commerce ministry prevents companies from sourcing parts, operating, investing or visiting the country.
