CASwell has introduced the CAF-0120, a fanless desktop networking system designed to provide AI-powered firewall and VPN gateway capabilities for small and medium-sized businesses and remote branch offices. The system is based on Intel’s latest Atom system-on-chip “Amston Lake” and offers advanced cybersecurity features in a compact and quiet form factor.

The CAF-0120 is designed as a dedicated security appliance that supports use cases such as next-generation firewalls (NGFW) and VPN gateways, leveraging the built-in artificial intelligence acceleration of the Intel Atom x7211RE processor. This integration of AI aims to improve protection against cyberattacks by improving the system’s ability to detect both known and previously unknown threats in network traffic.
