International Business Machines CorporationIBM has strengthened its footprint in digital banking infrastructure by enabling IBM Digital Asset Haven clients to connect with Swift’s blockchain-based shared ledger. The company is introducing an on-premises beta deployment that gives financial institutions and other regulated organizations greater control over their digital asset operations.
Under the beta offering, IBM Digital Asset Haven’s ISO 20022 Messaging Adapter allows financial institutions to process tokenized deposit transactions using standard ISO 20022 messages. The solution helps banks use existing payment formats and compliance processes while connecting to permissioned blockchain networks. By integrating with Swift’s shared ledger, the company enables institutions to support tokenized deposits and move digital assets 24/7 before final settlement.
