Broadcom launches new open ecosystem strategy for VMware Cloud Foundation for AI-era

NEW DELHI: Broadcom on Wednesday unveiled a new strategy for the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), centered on building an open and extensive ecosystem for modern private clouds.

The company said it aims to deliver a platform that is open and adaptable across all infrastructure layers, giving customers increased ability to leverage preferred data center and edge hardware, open networking constructs, and open source technologies.

Paul Turner, chief product officer of the VMware Cloud Foundation Division at Broadcom, stated that VCF 9.0 is “redefining how organisations approach their private cloud journey” by offering a consistent operating model that spans the data center to the edge.
