BRENHAM — The Blinn College football team will look to extend its winning streak and strengthen its postseason chances when it hosts Cisco College for its Homecoming game and a critical Southwest Junior College Football Conference matchup at 3 p.m. Saturday at Cub Stadium in Brenham
The Buccaneers are 4-3 overall and 2-3 in conference play after winning back-to-back SWJCFC games for the first time since 2021, the last season Blinn qualified for the conference playoffs. With only one regular-season game remaining after Saturday, the Bucs are fighting to keep their postseason hopes alive.
Cisco enters the matchup at 1-5 overall and 1-4 in conference play.
Blinn has found ways to deliver in the biggest moments during its recent victories, defeating Snow College 20-14 on Oct. 3 before earning a 20-16 road win over New Mexico Military Institute on Oct. 10.
