Blacktown City Council in Sydney is currently testing an artificial intelligence (AI) system that will make development applications quicker and easier, especially for individual residents.
The generative AI tool is called DAISY and was launched to address a practical problem in local planning, a council spokesman said iTnews: More than 80 per cent of development applications received by Blacktown come from individual residents rather than professional developers.
