Bendigo Bank has entered into a multi-year agreement to expand its adoption of Google Cloud technologies, integrating advanced artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and digital skills training across its operations and workforce.

Bendigo Bank will roll out Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise to all employees after a successful pilot resulted in significant time savings and operational efficiencies. As part of the pilot, the bank introduced AI across multiple business areas, including consumer banking, finance, risk, marketing and technology.
Wider deployment is expected to increase productivity by automating tasks such as processing loan and refinancing applications, using AI to speed up document searches and identifying financial crime risks. Bendigo Bank developers will also benefit from Gemini Code Assist, an AI-powered tool designed to accelerate code development and deployment.
