Shortly after Beast of Reincarnation‘s release earlier this month on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, Game Freak and Fictions vowed to fix the game’s biggest shortcomings. Following the weekly patch release schedule established by Pearl Abyss with Crimson Desert, a second patch has now gone live, introducing even more fan requests such as camera improvements and subtitle size adjustment options and promising even more for the future.
Highly Requested Changes of Patch 1.0.8
The new Beast of Reincarnation patch, which is now live on all formats, shows how Game Freak and Fictions have taken player feedback to heart, as it introduces some changes that were highly requested by the community, including new camera distance options, camera adjustments in and out of combat, and subtitle size adjustment options.
- Added player camera distance options: Close, Medium, and Far.
- Various further adjustments to the player camera, both in and out of combat.
- Camera adjustments will continue as needed in future updates.
- Adjusted certain in-game cinematic camera cuts.
Besides the improvements above, Beast of Reincarnation also got a few more very welcome improvements, including more objective markers in the early story to make navigation easier and some other general balance changes.
