Bank of England warns of AI scams as deepfakes of Farage-Bailey fight spread

The Bank of England has warned the public not to fall for AI-generated scams after fake videos of Nigel Farage battling his governor were spread online.

BoE chief Andrew Bailey said AI-generated content linked to central banks was spreading and urged people to be “vigilant”.
