Australian founder makes tax less burdensome for start-ups

Many people make money by evading taxes. Far fewer manage to make money through tax compliance. But an artificial intelligence startup led by a former Macquarie banker in San Francisco is trying to do just that and is already valued at $150 million after barely a year of operation.

Founded by Australian Nicholas Rudder, Sphere launched in December last year as a tax engine that uses large language models to analyze tax law around the world and help startups manage their obligations.
