Faster data center approvals, tax breaks and visa relief are urgently needed for Australia to compete in the race to capture a share of $850 billion in artificial intelligence investment, a liberal-leaning think tank argues.

The Menzies Research Center says the Albanian government’s national AI strategy, published in December, is “slow and reactive” and offers “little guidance for industry or investors.”
