The US stock market is heading for more records as the winners of the artificial intelligence boom continue to rise.
The S&P 500 rose 0.1 percent daily after hitting its recent all-time high. The Dow Jones rose 168 points, or 0.3 percent, and the Nasdaq composite was largely unchanged. All three indices made up for the morning’s slight losses.
The Australian stock market is set to rise, with futures pointing to a gain of 25 points, or 0.3 percent, at the opening of trading. The ASX fell lower on Tuesday. The Australian dollar traded at $71.81.
AI chip companies helped drive Wall Street higher. Their growth has skyrocketed as customers want more AI computing power, and Broadcom rose 3 percent.
