Apple has appointed longtime Google executive Lilian Rincon as its new vice president of product marketing for artificial intelligence, signaling a continued push into advanced AI capabilities, according to Reuters.

Rincon, who spent nearly a decade at Google, will report directly to Apple’s marketing chief Greg Joswiak, also known as “Joz.” Her hiring comes as the company prepares to roll out a significantly upgraded version of Siri later this year, per Reuters.
