AirTrunk CEO Robin Khuda says inflexible copyright laws remain the biggest obstacle to local investment by artificial intelligence giant Anthropic, as its CEO Dario Amodei and top executives visited Canberra on Tuesday to promote the self-described ethical AI company.
In addition to policy meetings, the $380 billion behemoth is meeting with Australian data center executives including NextDC, AirTrunk and CDC Data Centers, with an announcement about Anthropic’s increased local focus expected during the visit.
