Anthropic and NEC are working together to build AI-native engineering at scale in Japan

NEC Corporation will use Claude to build one of Japan’s largest AI native engineering organizations and make it available to approximately 30,000 NEC Group employees worldwide.

As part of this strategic collaboration, NEC becomes Anthropic’s first global partner based in Japan. Together we will develop secure, industry-specific AI products for the Japanese market, starting with tools for finance, manufacturing and local government.
