The US version of TikTok is experiencing problems again due to an Oracle outage, just a month after it came back online a similar outage in February.
The Service interruptionThe incident affecting Oracle’s data center in Ashburn, Virginia, began early Tuesday afternoon Down detector Reports peak around 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. TikTok USDS confirmed in a post on X that US users “may experience temporary delays in publishing content while Oracle works to resolve the issue.”
This is the second service interruption that the US version of TikTok has suffered a deal in January As a result, the majority stake was transferred from the original owner of the platform, the Chinese company ByteDance. The previous round of spending came shortly after a joint venture, TikTok USDS, which also includes Oracle, acquired the app in the US as part of that deal. According to TikTok USDS, this service interruption occurred caused by a power outage in an Oracle data center.
