SOUTH BEND – The St. Joseph County Department of Health Water Resources Advisory Board’s meeting Thursday, Oct. 22 had been billed as having two presentations on data center water usage before public comment – one by Microsoft and one by Amazon Web Services. One was postponed, and it’s unclear whether many in the public could watch the other.
The Microsoft presentation was postponed at the beginning of the meeting because the company asked to present its water usage update at a later date instead, according to advisory board member and county council member Andy Rutten, R-District I.
