Amazon expanded its Health AI agent from the One Medical app to Amazon.com and the Amazon mobile app this week, while Perplexity launched Perplexity Health, a suite of personal health data connectors; lab-testing company Function announced a connector to pipe results into Perplexity Health. Amazon’s system runs on Bedrock and handles appointments, prescriptions and referrals; Perplexity aggregates EHRs from 1.7 million providers, Apple Health and wearables, encrypting data and not using it to train models.
