Mustafa Suleyman, CEO of Microsoft AI, recently claimed that artificial intelligence achieves “human performance” in “most, if not all” professional tasks. He predicted that most office work tasks “will be fully automated by AI within the next 12 to 18 months.”
Suleyman’s comments are just the latest in a long line of similar predictions that pose difficult questions for working professionals, those seeking vocational training, and those wondering what to study in college or whether to study at all.
