AI robotics company is new Australian tech unicorn after blockbuster rise

A Sydney-based start-up that has developed software and robotics technology used by NASA, Boeing, Tesla and major mining companies is Australia’s next billion-dollar unicorn after raising more than $150 million.

Advanced Navigation’s recent $158 million capital injection was led by Airtree Ventures and also included money from Quadrant Private Equity and the federal government’s National Reconstruction Fund Corporation, valuing the company at more than $1 billion.
